Dell venue 8 pro

Earlier this week, Microsoft slashed the prices of a handful of Windows tablets at their online store, and offered attractive discounts on them. Among the list was the popular Dell Venue 8 Pro, which was down to $229.99 to match the price offered by the retail giant Amazon. Well, that’s a pretty attractive deal, but if you’re still confused and want to save a bit of your hard-earned cash, take a look at the deal offered by Micro Center.

The retailer is offering the 32GB Dell Venue 8 Pro for just $199.99, that’s a saving of $100 compared to the official retail price and $30 less than what Microsoft is offering it for. If you’re a storage hungry user, Micro Center is also offering an $80 discount on the 64GB version that brings its price down to $249.99. Isn’t it sweet? Yes it is. However, there’s a catch here: the offer is available in-store only and is limited to 1 device per household.

To refresh you memory, here’s what you will get for this price:

  • 8-inch IPS display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution with 10-finger multi-touch support
  • 2GB of RAM
  • A quad-core Intel Atom Z3740D up to 1.80 GHz
  • 32GB SSD storage (64GB available as well)
  • 5MP rear camera
  • 1.2MP HD front camera
  • Wi-Fi 802.11a/g/n with Miracast enabled
  • 2-cell lithium-ion battery
  • Microsoft Office Home and Student 2013
  • Weighs 395g
  • Windows 8.1 OS

Sounds good enough, right? Head over to your nearest Micro Center store and grab a Dell Venue 8 Pro for yourself if you’re hunting for a decent portable Windows tablet. Grab it while the offer lasts. Here’s the product listing for the Dell Venue 8 Pro 32GB and Dell Venue 8 Pro 64GB at Micro Center.
