Popular movie making app, Movie Maker 8.1, for Windows Phone is available for free at the Windows Phone Store today. The app which usually sells for $1.99, is claimed by its publisher to be the first of its kind in the store. 

First spotted by Windows Phone Lovers community on Facebook, Movie Maker 8.1 allows users to stitch videos, music, and images together. It also allows you to add beautiful titles and apply real time effects, as well as sports several 3D transitions.

Movie Maker 8.1 sports a user friendly interface. It also supports full 1080P videos and lets you save files on your SD card as well as on OneDrive. Movie Maker offers a plethora of effects, transitions and tools and even allows you to grab the audio file from videos.
