Deal Alert: Get premium features of LastPass for free for a year

LastPass, a massively popular password management software available across platforms, has inked a deal with AppSumo, a daily deals website for digitally distributed goods and online services. As a result of the partnership, both new and existing users of LastPass can grab the premium features for free for a year.

For those who are unfamiliar, LastPass lets users save all their login credentials — usernames and passwords — at one place. It also features a built-in browser that automatically fills all their information, speeding up the signing in and form-filling processes.

It also offers multiple-factor authentication, and lets users generate secure passwords for each website. Existing users need to head over to the VIA link (mentioned below) and provide the email ID in which they use with LastPass. New users will need to download the app first and sign-up for a new account.  Once that is done, they can also provide their email ID to the AppSumo-LastPass page.

The premium pack includes unlimited use of LastPass’s mobile apps, it also brings more multi-authentication options. It also weeds out ads. You won’t be required to mention your credit card details anywhere, as tested by WinBeta.
