Deal Alert: 32GB Nokia Lumia 1020 available for 0.01$ with AT&T Contract

Over the last few months, several new Windows Phone handsets have hit retailers. And now that Windows Phone has even more mobile partners, we are beginning to see a plethora of devices trying to lure your attention. But there’s one handset that stands tall, unaffected by the dozens of other flagship devices. Yes, we’re talking about the 41 MP Nokia Lumia 1020 smartphone. If you’ve been thinking of getting that device, now could be the right time, as the 32GB variant of the phone is available for free (almost) with an AT&T contract on Amazon.

While the world-record 41 MP camera is certainly an awesome addition — it even won a Science competition recently — the phone’s other technical specifications are also top class. It sports a 4.5-inch AMOLED display, with a resolution of 768 x 1280 pixels. Powered by a Dual-core 1.5 GHz processor and coupled with 2GB of RAM, the Lumia 1020 runs Windows Phone 8, which is upgradable to the Lumia Black firmware update. The phone will soon receive the Windows Phone 8.1 update, though, you can get the developer preview version of it now as well. The 1020 carries a 2000mAh battery.

Lumia 1020 is available on Amazon in three different colors – Yellow, White, and Black. And now the phone is available for $0.01 on a contract with AT&T. Amazon (with the carrier) is offering three different plans that a user could opt for to grab the Lumia 1020. There is an individual plan, a family plan, and those who don’t want to buy the phone on a contract basis, can have the unlocked version as well. The unlocked version will cost $599 — which doesn’t sound bad either, considering the original price of the phone is $799.99. AT&T is also offering some discounts on used and refurbished Nokia Lumia 1020 handsets, which you can find more information at any of the links below.
