Recent Amazon listings for Dead Island 2 went live on August 18. Pre-orders are net yet open and the listing currently display the game as out of stock.

However, one Twitter user spotted a potential release date: February 3, 2023.

While the supposed launch date can no longer be seen in the listing, the user insists that release date is legit. Both Amazon links are now dead, however, and whether the August 17 post in reliable remains unclear.

Dead Island 2 has been in development quite a long time, and was first revealed in 2014. Its development has changed hands multiple times since then, with Dambuster Studios now in charge of the game.
