Microsoft’s Cortana personal assistant continues to play an important role in Microsoft’s cross-platform strategy. While Cortana runs best on Windows 10 in terms of being the most integrated, and runs a close second on Android, the machine intelligence still provides some useful functionality on the more closed iOS.

Today, Microsoft pushed a new update for Cortana on the iPhone, adding some new functionality and fixing some issues. Here’s the changelog for version 1.5.5:

  • The ability to launch some popular apps with your voice
  • An improved homepage loading experience

If you’re running Cortana on your iPhone, go to the App Store and hit the update button. If not, perhaps you should give it a try by installing the app from the link below.
