After two weeks of testing with members of the Beta program, Microsoft Launcher version 4.6 has started to roll out to all Android users. This latest update brings the much anticipated Cortana integration, and you can use the digital assistant right from the Launcher to make calls, schedule meetings, continue what you’re doing on your PC and more.
For now, Cortana is only available in English, but it’s definitely nice to have if the standalone Cortana Android app isn’t available in your market. In addition to Cortana, this latest version of the Microsoft Launcher also brings support for Arabic/RTL languages, as well as some feature adjustments such as the ability to pin searched apps and contacts to your home screen.
Microsoft has been iterating fast on its Android Launcher over the past few months, and the app has definitely become a must-have for Android users living in the Microsoft ecosystem. Let us know in the comments if you like this latest update.
