Cortana can help you learn to do things on your Windows Phone device in new Help+Tips app update

\

Microsoft has rolled out a new update to the Help+Tips app for Windows Phone, adding Cortana integration. Are you unsure on how to make a phone call or use Cortana? This can be an issue if you are new to Windows Phone or new to smartphones in general (perhaps you just bought your grandparents their first Windows Phone).

\

With the new Help+Tips app, all you have to do is ask Cortana “How do I..” and she will give you the information you desire directly from the app. Here is what Microsoft had to say about this update:

\

\

“Now Cortana can help you learn to do things on your Windows Phone device. Get the latest version of the Help+Tips app for Windows Phone, then ask her how to make a phone call, add contacts, even how to use Cortana (bit of an “Inception” there). Just make sure to say “How do I…” when you try it out – e.g. “How do I back up my phone?” She’ll get you to the right info in the app.”
