Cortana has been available on the Android platform for quite a while now, and Microsoft has steadily been updating the Cortana app for Android accordingly. Today, the app is seeing one of those updates, adding a fix to a key feature.
The update brings the app to version 1.5.5.921 and fixes the reminder sync issue in the Cortana widget that can be installed on Android devices. Beyond this, there are not any other listed changes in the Google Play store listing for the app.
With Cortana on Android, you can send and get location and time reminders across your PC and phone. If running Windows 10 version 1511 and above, you can also use get notified and send a quick text reply from your PC using Cortana if you miss a call on your phone.
So, if you’re on the Android platform, and also use Cortana, now would be a good time to head to the app store and press that update button! However, in the event that you do not use the app, we have done you a favor and have included a download link below.
