Connecticut Microsoft store opening this weekend, Titanfall info plannedThe number of brick and mortar stores being operated by Microsoft is continuing to grow, with locations even spreading outside of the US. Grand openings are always a spectacle, featuring large crowds, concerts with popular artists, giveaways and more. The latest event will be no exception, but it does pick up one added special guest.

Xbox Live chief Larry Hryb, better known as Major Nelson, plans to attend the grand opening of the Westfarms, Connecticut store and, being the company’s gamer, he’s got lots of Xbox fun in store. “We will have hands on time with ‘Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare’ as well as a special Q&A with Titanfall Community Manager Abbie Heppe — PLUS I’ll be giving away an Xbox One Console to one lucky attendee…it could be you”, Hryb announces.

But it isn’t all about Xbox One and games. The usual concert will also take place, this one on Sunday March 2nd and featuring Florida Georgia Line. Everything kicks off this Saturday, March 1st, and there are generally large crowds, so plan to arrive early if you are in the area.
