City Art Search adds special features, now a universal Windows app

\\n

City Art Search is one perfect Windows Phone app for art enthusiasts. You can search a database of over 2,600 works of art in thousands of galleries and museums all around the globe. City Art Search’s recent update has now made it a universal app for Windows. So now, you can search by artwork title, artist, or location to browse through artwork on your Windows Phone or other Windows 8.1 device.

\\n

City Art Search can use your location to find local museums and galleries near you and lets you create a list of your favorite artworks so you can view them later on whichever Windows device you choose. City Art Search uses information pulled from Wikipedia, so if there is no artwork on Wikipedia or the gallery’s or museum’s website, City Art Search will simply use a map marker for your local gallery or museum.

\\n

You can also personalize your Windows Phone or Windows 8.1 device using City Art Search by creating a live tile with your favorite artwork or using your favorite work of art as a lock screen for your favorite Windows device. The latest update also adds a number of new artwork as well some general bug fixes and UI improvements.

So take a look for yourself and download City Art Search today in the download link below.
