The first month of the new year is almost done, and January 2023 was a solid month for Xbox Game Pass. But it isn’t quite done yet, with more games coming to the service this week and beyond, as well as a few games unfortunately leaving.

Games coming soon to Xbox Game Pass

Hi-Fi Rush (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) – January 25

Hi-Fi Rush

This style-infused rhythm-action game arguably stole the show at the Xbox & Bethesda Developer_Direct earlier this week. The surprise showcase came with a surprise release following the event. The game is getting a lot of praise so far.

GoldenEye 007 (Cloud and Console) – January 27

GoldenEye 007

This classic shooter finally arrives on Xbox Game Pass this Friday. This release inlcudes achievements and up to 4K resolution, and brings back split-screen multiplayer.

Roboquest (Game Preview) (Console) – January 30

Roboquest has been available on PC Game Pass for awhile, but now it is set to come to Xbox Game Pass in preview form.

Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition (Cloud and Console) – January 31

This installment of the classic strategy game series makes its way to Xbox consoles as a day-one Xbox Game Pass release at month’s end.

Inkulinati (Game Preview) (Cloud, Console, and PC) – January 31

“An ink-based strategy game straight from medieval manuscripts, where a rabbit’s bum can be deadlier than a dog’s sword.” Sounds like quite an original gaming experience.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure All-Star Battle R (Cloud, Console, and PC) – January 31

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure All-Star Battle R

Another entry in this classic fighting game franchise, based on Hirohiko Araki’s legendary manga series turned anime show. The game boasts 50 characters from the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure universe.

Darkest Dungeon (Cloud, Console, and PC) – February 2

In this turn-based roguelike RPG players will encounter plenty of monstrous foes, but the worst enemy they’ll face is the dark itself.

Grid Legends (Cloud) EA Play – February 2

This simcade racer is already available on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate via EA Play, but now it gets cloud streaming support with Xbox Cloud Gaming.

Hot Wheels Unleashed – Game of the Year Edition (Cloud, Console, and PC) – February 7

Hot Wheels Unleashed

Drift, boost, jump and crash on the iconic, gravity-defying orange Hot Wheels tracks with the raddest Hot Wheels cars in this Game of the Year Edition of the game.

Games leaving Xbox Game Pass January 31st

As per usual, four games will be removed from the service at the end of the month. These are listed below.

  • Donut Country
  • Taiko no Tatsujin: The Drum Master!
  • Telling Lies
  • Worms W.M.D

The good news is that Game Pass members can buy these games at a discount before they are removed. You can learn more about the service by checking out the Xbox Game Pass FAQ page.
