Check out the new Xbox Music and Windows Store in Windows 8.1 (video)

Xbox music

Since the Windows Server 2012 R2 Preview is out for public testing, we’ve managed to install the Desktop Experience pack which enables many client OS features such as the Store and UI customizations. We’ve made a short video showing off the new Xbox Music app and Windows Store, which will be available for everyone in the Windows 8.1 Preview launching tomorrow!

Xbox Music features a new UI, which makes it much easier to navigate with touch and cursor. The Windows Store has also been given a face lift, making it 10 times better than the current store in Windows 8.

We will be taking a more detailed look into Windows 8.1 tomorrow when the Preview is released to the public, so stick around for that!
