Catch and TravelMe apps for Windows Phone 8 receive new updates

Check out Catch, which was recently made available for Windows Phone 8. The app is free and seems simple, but is actually quite a challenging puzzle game. TravelMe, on the other hand, is a fantastic new app that helps you find a taxi in India, especially for a location you are not familiar with.

“Catch is an addictive Touch Puzzle Game. You have to catch all colored stars spread across many levels. To play, link all stars of the same color with your finger,” the app description reads. The premise of the app is simple. In each puzzle, you will need to connect the stars of the same color to create a path. The paths must not be crossed, except along a bridge. As the app developers state, the game seems simple at first but then becomes quite a challenge as the levels progress. Catch was recently updated to version 1.1.0.0 and brings along a new game mode called ‘Time Attack.’

“Traveling to a unknown city? Need to reach a place? Don’t have a ride? TravelMe is here to save the day. TravelMe is equipped with contacts of taxi companies that will get you to the desired place. Now you don’t have to spend time searching for numbers of taxi companies, it’s always there with you in your pocket via this small app. It covers most of the major cities in India,” the app description reads. With TravelMe, you can easily find and book a taxi for your trip, right on your Windows Phone device. Version 1.0.0.0 was just made available to the Windows Phone Store.

Zombie Derby

Zombie Derby isn’t new, but its worth mentioning if you have yet to try it out. This app is fantastic, fun, addicting, and entertaining to say the least. “Do you have the drive to survive? Real men have two favorite things; cars and guns. And no stinking zombie apocalypse is going to change that. Take control of your car to see how far you can get and how many zombies you can kill – and if you can actually escape with your brains intact,” the app description reads. Good luck getting past the first level in one try, as the game requires you to earn coins to boost your vehicles power before you can pass the level. The game features in-app purchases to boost your five unlockable vehicles for those who cant wait to beat the game’s five levels.

Hit the download links below to snag the respective apps – they are all free. Let us know if you like them!
