Throughout the last few months, we have been closely covering the Huawei MateBook. Mollie Ruiz-Hopper, Editor-in-Chief of the Windows Blog, has published a post and video which is giving us a closer look at the thin metal bodied premium two in one PC.
The video begins with Mollie Ruiz-Hopper mentioning the weight of the device, which is just 1.4 pounds. She then goes into more details of the device’s 9 hours of battery life, the 6th Generation Intel Core M-Series Processor, 8 GB of RAM, and the benefits of the device’s 512 GB Sold State Drive. Of course, Hopper also shows off the MateBook’s 12” IPS display touchscreen which boasts 2160×1440 resolution and 160° wide viewing angle.
Hopper continues on in the video to show off what she calls her personal favorite feature, the subtle finger print sensor. She is sure to mention and demonstrate that she can use the sensor to sign into her PC using Windows Hello. Then, to finish, Hopper mentions the entire lineup of accessories for the MateBook, including the backlit Huawei MateBook Portfolio Keyboard, The MatePen, and the Huawei MateDock.
The device is available to purchase starting at $699 in the United States and Canada through the Microsoft Store, Amazon.com and NewEgg.com.
