Further expansion expected in 2011 with announcement of enhancements to pioneering AOK 4.0

London, 9 February 2010 – ChangeBASE Limited, the global leader in automated application compatibility testing and remediation, is proud to announce a record year of growth in 2010 and huge demand for the recently released V4.0 of their market leading AOK compatibility software. Growth figures for 2010 exceeded expectations with a 300% revenue increase on 2009 resulting from a large number of new business wins across the world. Staff numbers also increased threefold, with plans to add 50+ new people to the team in 2011. It is expected that over 75% of 2011 revenue will be from overseas companies – with a particular emphasis on the US.

This remarkable growth has been amplified by AOK V4.0 which was under controlled release until the end of January. 14 client and partner groups took part in the controlled release and all have or are ready to go live with the new product.

AOK V4.0 has now been rolled out to the full partner channel and 250+ consultants in the ChangeBASE network have been trained on V4.0 and are already using the product. V4.0 delivers extended value to existing customers and addresses key industry challenges, such as browser compatibility. Key new features in AOK V4.0 include:

•Browse-It, which allows organisations to test whether web sites/applications will run on a new browser platform such as IE8.

•Better ROI with class-leading enhancements in reporting

•Bulk application handling

•Administration and improved ability to customise rules to meet specific client requirements

John Tate, CEO of ChangeBASE comments, “we are delighted with last year’s performance particularly in such challenging times and have got off to a flying start in 2011.We now have several of the top Fortune 500 companies as clients and a massive pipeline for this year. Virtually all organisations that have piloted our software realise the unique benefits of automatically testing and fixing application compatibility issues. AOK V4.0 is even faster than earlier releases and can test and fix thousands of applications in a matter of hours or a few days, which is critical in today’s business environment.

AOK is proving a key differentiator to winning and accelerating massive transformation projects to a new desktop/server environment. Over 2 million desktops are in the process of or have been upgraded to Windows 7, using AOK as catalyst to help address the application compatibility issues. In many instances clients and partners report situations where AOK saves so much time that the payback period on using our product is measured in weeks rather than months.”

Chris Hall, Solutions Architecture Manager of SCH Group adds; “we are delighted with the new features in Version 4.0 and have already put it into production in our European Packaging Centre. We were ChangeBASE’s first global partner back in 2007 and since then we have provided application compatibility and packaging services for thousands of our customers’ applications across our territories. AOK is a key part of that process. The automation AOK offers, both for testing and fixing applications, allows us to offer a rapid low cost service which resolves a key challenge in any transformation project. With the widespread adoption of Windows 7, application/desktop virtualisation and the move to IE8/9 we are seeing a huge increase in demand for these services.”
