Can you survive Hyper Cell for Windows 8.1, a psychedelic maze that beats to the rhythm of the music?

If you are looking for a cool new minimalist game for Windows 8.1, check out Hyper Cell. The game play is very simple, move your character forward and avoid obstacles.

“Get ready for the ride of your life. Hyper Cell is a minimalist survival platformer game. You wake up in a cell, you don’t know how you got there. Survive this psychedelic maze that beats to the rhythm of the music. This addictive 3d platformer and the amazing music tracks will keep you hooked. You have not seen thrilling action like this before,” the app description states.

The game features three awesome music tracks and features both touch and keyboard controls. The graphics are minimalist and when your character gets hit by an obstacle, your character will be “deactivated” causing you to start the level from the beginning.

There are multiple types of laser beams, traps, canons, and seeking missiles to make it difficult and challenging to pass a level. But don’t worry, there are check points along the way.

How far can you get in Hyper Cell for Windows 8.1? For those of you who are interested, the game will also be made available for Windows Phone, Android, and iOS soon.

Check out the game in action below. Hit the download link to snag the free game.
