Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is currently free to play on all platforms, including Microsoft’s Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles. The Free Access Week will last through December 24, and it will include various Multiplayer modes and playlists like Raid the Mall, Nuketown Holiday 24/7, and Prop Hunt.

The Free Access Week will actually come in two stages: Starting today through Monday, players will get access to 2v2 Gunfight, Team Deathmatch, the Nuketown Holiday 24/7 playlist, the Raid the Mall playlist, and the Domination Mode. Starting December 21, the Stage 2 will keep all modes from Stage 1 while also adding the Prop Hunt, Combined Arms: Hardpoint, and Fireteam: Dirty Bomb modes.

Free for all.

All players will also enjoy Double XP, Double Weapon XP, and Double Battle Pass Progression during this week of free access, and you can learn more details on this page. If you decide to purchase the full game once the free trial is over, you’ll be able to keep all your multiplayer progression and enjoy the rest of the multiplayer modes plus the game’s single-player campaign.
