Call of Duty Advanced Warfare now available to Day Zero and Digital Pro Edition owners on Xbox One

The much awaited first-person shooter Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare isn’t releasing on Xbox One platform until November 4th. However, fans who had pre-ordered the Day Zero Edition or Digital Pro Edition, or any one of the collector’s editions of the game can start playing the title now (12:01AM ET). Users get up to 24 hours of early access to the title.

Developed by Sledgehammer Games, Advanced Warfare is set in 2054. The game sees Jonathan Irons, played by Kevin Spacey, as the leader the Private Military Corporation named Atlas. His army force is often more powerful than the governments that hire them. He believes that the nations the USA has given democracy to still don’t have basic fundamentals to support it. The title opens with this line from Abraham Lincoln: ”Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man’s character, give him power.”

The users who had pre-ordered the Day Zero edition also get two bonus custom weapons – the AK-12G Assault Rifle and Crossbow-B2, as well as Bullet Brass Exoskeleton and EM1 Quantum Directed Energy Weapon, and a full day access to double XP. Additionally, the users who had bought the Digital Pro Edition can also start playing the game today. Other than an early access to the title, they also get the season pass, Atlas Gorge bonus multiplayer map, Atlas Digital Content Pack, and double XP.

The Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Day Zero Edition is now available at many retailers and digital stores. Do note that if you buy a digital copy of the title on Xbox 360, you will be able to upgrade the it on Xbox One at no charge.
