Microsoft’s annual Build conference is just around the corner and will commence on April 29th in San Francisco. The company is expected to announce details about a number of its products and services, and even new devices.
Talking at the IFA 2015 Global Press Conference today in Malta, Microsoft’s General Manager of Developer Experiences Bryan Biniak said that this year’s Build will be one of the most important events in the history of the company. Microsoft usually announces new versions of their operating systems at Build — both Windows and Windows Phone — alongside a number of new devices.
Microsoft, riding high on yesterday’s upbeat earnings report, has a lot going for it, Biniak said:

This year, it’s likely that Microsoft will showcase what’s next for the highly anticipated Windows 10 operating system. Microsoft is already running the Windows Insiders program which give users the ability to test the preview of the new operating system to help the company iron out bugs and issues with the operating system for both the desktop and smartphones.
We’re also expecting the company to introduce a number of new devices, and Microsoft may have some surprises for its fans around the globe. Furthermore, we may get to hear more about the HoloLens, the company’s first big step in the augmented reality industry.
This year’s Build is going to be an exciting event and we’ll make sure you get every piece of it. We’ll be live at the event in San Francisco and will bring you all the news and tid bits from the big event, stay tuned to WinBeta. Just make sure you don’t have anything planned between April 29th to May 1st.
