Today is the second day of Microsoft’s annual Build developer conference, and Windows 10 enthusiasts really don’t want to miss the introducing keynote starting at 8:30 AM PST. If yesterday was all about artificial intelligence and Azure, today’s keynote will address the future of Windows 10 including the upcoming Redstone 3 update, the Project Neon Design language, Windows Mixed Reality headsets and much more.
If you’re a developer, you can also expect the company to talk more about Visual Studio, Xamarin and UWP apps. If Microsoft announced yesterday that the Windows Store now has over 1000 desktop apps converted by Desktop Bridge, the company really needs developers to embrace its Universal Windows Platform, which probably still lacks a true killer app.
We also hope to hear the company talk about its mobile OS today. The Windows 10 Mobile Creators Update was quite underwhelming, to say the least, and it would be nice to learn that Redstone 3 will bring some good news for those who want to stick with Windows Phone this year. Keep it locked to OnMSFT if you don’t want to miss today’s announcements.
