Bing wants you to stick to your New Year's resolutions with the Bing Health & Fitness app

OK, a quick show of hands. How many of you vowed that 2014 is the year in which you shed a few pounds, hit the running track and generally get yourself a little fitter? Quite a few of you it seems! Next question. Even though we’re only a week in to the New Year, how are things going? Have you stuck to your resolution? No? Maybe you need a little help.

Never fear! Bing is on hand to help you out with the Bing Health & Fitness app for Windows 8.1. The app itself is not new, nor has it been updated, but the Bing team has written a blog post that serves as a timely reminder of its existence. The post points out just how helpful it could be in helping you to stick to your goals.

The Bing teams know that many people start off with good intentions; search traffic for weight loss and healthy recipes jump at this time of year. The Bing Health & Fitness app can be used to determine the nutritional information for tens of thousands of foods, as well as enabling you to track what you eat.

Of course diet is important, but exercise also plays a large role in overall health. Take a look at the app and you’ll find more than a thousand exercise videos ranging in length and difficulty. Again, the app not only helps to you decide what to do, but also keep track of what you do end up doing — and this can serve as excellent motivation.
