Bing Sports and Dev Center apps for Windows Phone 8 receive new updates

Microsoft’s very own Bing Sports app has received an update today, bumping the app’s version number to 3.0.1.121. In this new update, Microsoft has added detailed game experiences for the NFL, NBA, and
EPL, Bundesliga, Serie A, La Liga, UEFA Champions League, Ligue 1, MLS, Brasileirao Serie A, and many more soccer leagues.

The update also adds personalized news stories for favorite teams and favorite sports, along with a personalized Live tile displaying upcoming, live and completed games for favorite teams. You also now have the ability to follow tweets, top stories, and more for popular athletes.

“The Bing Sports app makes it easy for you to keep up with all the sports and teams you care about. Designed for Windows Phone, the Sports app puts your favorite teams and sports at your fingertips. Swipe through the app to get an overview of the top headlines, scores, schedules, standings, statistics and much more across all major sports. Personalize the experience so you can track all the sports and teams that interest you the most,” the Bing Sports app description reads.

On the other hand, the official Dev Center app for Windows Phone has also received an update, bumping the app’s version number to 1.5.1401.6. This app compliments a Windows Phone developer, as it showcases statistics as well as reviews for published apps in the Windows Phone Store. No change log was available so the update is likely to only address bug fixes and other minor improvements.

Hit the download link below to snag both apps. Let us know if you notice any new improvements we did not mention above.
