Bing Maps now lets you view golf courses in 3D on Windows 8.1 and Windows 10

Bing is celebrating Father’s Day by releasing something dads and golf lovers will enjoy. You can now view 3D images of some of the popular golf courses in the latest updates to the Windows 10 and Windows 8.1 Maps Preview apps. 

The United States Golf Association traditionally hosts the United States Open Championship. Known as one of the “major tournaments” in men’s professional golf, the 2015 U.S Open will be played at the Chambers Bay golf club this week. Being able to see this gives great perspective, because the unique structure which can be deceiving on television. The final round of the US Open Championship is usually held on Father’s Day.

The 3D courses in the latest Bing Maps Preview update include Tacoma, WA; Augusta, GA; Pebble Beach, CA; St. Andrews Scotland; and Évian-les-Bains France.
