Bing Maps finds updates, introduces integrated driving services and 3D exploration of certain cities in Preview for Windows 8.1

Bing Maps has pushed an update to its Windows 8.1 client. The new update brings several new features, chief among them is the little revamp of its user interface — adjusting to make way for the integration of services like Yelp and TripAdvisor. Bing says that the integration will help the service expand driving and transit directions.

The other app, Bing Maps Preview has picked up several updates as well. The app now lets you explore and find cities with 3D models on the map through an Explore 3D experience. There are over 80 cities that Microsoft has rendered inside the app. In addition, there is also an option to have the favorite marked locations sync to PC and Windows Phone. The search bar is now visible all the time and provides auto suggestions as you type.

Download the updated version of Bing Maps and Bing Maps Preview from the download links below. Let us know how you like it.
