Prey 2 was announced many years ago, and looked absolutely amazing. While that game was unfortunately cancelled, it seems like we’re going to be seeing the franchise make a triumphant return soon. Arkane Studios, the team that had created Dishonored, is going to be rebooting the franchise – and it looks insanely gorgeous and spine chilling.
The game looks like it’s going to be injecting the franchise with a hefty dose of horror, introducing a space-age setting and possibly some serious philosophical themes throughout. We don’t know much of anything about the narrative of the game beyond these themes, but we hope that Prey is going to be able to build upon the excellent game of the same name that came out years ago. This looks like it’s going to be one of Bethesda’s biggest titles going into 2017, so you should really keep your eye on it.
