Throughout life we will be put into dangerous or uncertain situations, it is during these times that we need to have the tools necessary to reach out for help when we need it. Luckily, BeFriend is a new Universal Windows app that allows you to specify contacts to alert if you’re in danger.

The app offers a few features that will assist with situations where help may be needed, which includes:

- Permanent toast notification
- Specify three emergency contacts
- Silent SMS – sends text messages in the background)
- Hidden caller – calls contacts secretly in the background)
- SOS – activate the emergency functions immediately
- Timer and Reminder – if you don’t respond to the timer or reminder in time, it will contact your emergency contacts
- Precise location – uses GPS and cellular data to get the most precise location possible

As a Universal Windows app, it also supports multiple Windows 10 devices. The Windows Store listing currently states the following as being supported:
