Batman Arkham Knight for Xbox One and Windows PC delayed until next year

Batman Arkham Knight

There’s a bad news for all the gaming fans across the globe who are waiting for the finale of the Batman series, Arkham Knight, a Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment game developed br Rocksteady Studios. The game was expected to hit retail later this year, but it seems the gamers might have to wait a little longer to get their hands on it. The game has been delayed until 2015, so that gamers could get the “best experience.”

“We just want to make the best experience we possibly can and we need more time to do that,” said Guy Perkins of Rocksteady. “I think it’s just a case of we just want it to be really great.”

He further said, “I think what we’ve shown so far is a super ambitious project and we just want to make sure we are giving Batman fans and gamers the best Batman experience that we can possibly deliver and that just takes time. I think we would be doing fans a disservice if we didn’t spend the time on the title.”

The game was expected to land on the Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4 in October, according to a few game retailers. As far as the launch on the older consoles are concerned (Xbox 360 and PS3), “We realized that this is a super ambitious project. We’re introducing a game world that’s five times larger than what we’ve done before at a level of insane detail that we’ve always had in our games and blowing that out even more. We’ve got whole new lighting and water models. We’ve got super high-detailed character models. All of that stuff, it needs optimizing. It needs to work as well as it can do to put it all together into this amazing experience that we’re pushing for. It just takes time.”

Batman Arkham Knights is the series finale where the hero faces the ultimate threat. And no, Arkham Knight is not Batman, but a whole new character created by the folks at Rocksteady Studios. You’ll also see a bit of other evil villains as well, including Penguin, Scarecrow, Two-Face, and Harley Quinn. This delay will make some gamers very angry, but we must live with it. We’ll update you as soon as we get more information about the launch of the game.
