Autodesk's Tinkerplay lets you create 3D models on Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone

For those looking for a Windows 8.1 or Windows Phone app to create and mold your own 3D creations, Autodesk’s Tinkerplay is just the app for you. As 3D printers become more and more affordable, Tinkerplay is a great 3D model creation app, making creating and printing your 3D creations easier than ever.

Tinkerplay allows you to choose from a number of different 3D character templates, like a scorpion, or a ninja. You can also create your own 3D objects by combining templates to create a scorpion ninja with dinosaur skin. You can also position your 3D creation in any pose you want to get an idea of what your 3D creation will look like once it’s printed. All joints in Tinkerplay bend and twist just like the real 3D printed parts will so you can get a better idea of what your 3D finished product will be.

Tinkerplay fully supports multi-touch gestures and offers a simple 3D print layout to organize your 3D print files. Tinkerplay is available for Windows 8.1 PCs and tablets, as well as Windows Phone devices with at least 1 GB of RAM.
