Asus introduced a new portfolio of Windows 10 laptops today at Computex 2017 in Taipei, Taiwan. The company’s ZenBook line of premium ultrabooks welcomes three new models with the ZenBook Flip S convertible, the ZenBook Pro and the ZenBook 3 Deluxe. Additionally, the more affordable VivoBook series gets two new models with the Pro 15 and S15 laptops.
New ZenBook laptops
Starting at $1,099, the 13.3-inch ZenBook Flip S is a well-designed convertible laptop which is just 10.9 mm thin and 1.1 kg light. It offers up to 11.5 hours of battery life and can be configured with a 7th gen Intel Core i7 processor, a 1TB SSD and a 4K multitouch display.
Next, the ZenBook Pro is described by the company as the “thinnest, lightest and most powerful ZenBook Pro ever,” with prices starting at $1,299. Its all-aluminum body is just 18.9 mm thin and 1.8 kg light, and it comes with a 7th gen Intel Core i7 processor, an NVVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti GPU and 16GB of DDR4 RAM. Other highlights include a 15.6-inch 4K display, quad-speaker Harman Kardon surround-sound audio and 14 hours of battery life.
Lastly, the ZenBook 3 Deluxe is another gorgeous all-aluminum laptop, with a 13.3-inch chassis that houses a 14-inch ultra-narrow-bezel display. With a body that is just 12.9mm-thin and 1.1 kg-light, the company claims that this is “the world’s thinnest 14-inch laptop.” Starting at $1,199, this last ZenBook model comes with a 7th gen Intel Core i7 processor, up to 16GB of RAM, up to 1TB of SSD storage and two Thunderbolt 3 ports.
New VivoBook laptops
The company’s VivoBook portfolio is much more affordable, but the two new models introduced today show that the Taiwanese manufacturer didn’t compromise on design and specs. Starting at $799, the new VivoBook Pro 15 comes with a 7th gen Intel Core i7 processor, up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM and a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 GPU. Other highlihgts include a 4K UHD display with wide-view technology and great audio thanks to two Harman Kardon speakers with large 8cc audio chambers.
Lastly, the VivoBook S 15 is another stylish 15.6-inch laptop described by the company as the ” most premium model in the VivoBook Series.” Starting at $499, it comes with a 7th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, up to 16GB DDR4 memory and NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics.
All these new laptops from Asus will start shipping in the summer. Computex 2017 will last through Saturday, June 3 so you can expect to see a lot of new Windows 10 PCs being announced this week.
