With the official confirmation of November 10th being the release date for Microsoft’s upcoming next gen Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X consoles this week, Ubisoft has changed the previously confirmed release date for their Assassin’s Creed Valhalla video game so that it can debut on the same date on all platforms.

This means that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be launching as an Xbox Series X and S launch title while also arriving on Xbox One and other platforms at the same time.

On the Xbox Series X, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will run at 60 FPS in full 4K. 4K resolution is also confirmed for the current gen Xbox One X console though its framerate will likely hover around the 30 FPS mark.

Xbox One digital pre-orders for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla are already live in the Microsoft Store and, since owners of the Xbox One version will get a free upgrade to the Xbox Series X version, pre-ordering the One version is essentially a pre-order for the higher end Series X option.
