Asphalt 8: Airborne for Windows 8 & WP adds Asian-inspired locations

The ever so popular game Asphalt 8: Airborne has received an exciting update on both its Windows 8 and Windows Phone apps. Bumping up the version number to 1.0.0.5, the update brings new locations and cars to the game.

There are several new Asian-inspired locations, one of which resembles the Great Wall. Besides that, there are 6 more never-seen-before locations. The publisher promises that many amazing new cars including the 2014 McLaren P1, Ferrari Testarossa, and Dodge Challenger will be added to the title soon.

The recent update include 47 new cars, out of which around 80 percent are new. These cars include top licensed manufacturers like Lamborghini and Ferrari.  In addition, many new seasons and events were added in Career mode. You can have 8 real opponents racing simultaneously in multiplayer action.  New soundtracks from bands The Crystal Method, Band of Skulls, and Silversun Pickups have also been included in the game.

You can snag the update from the Via links below. If you haven’t tried it yet, Asphalt 8: Airborne is available for free on Windows 8 and Windows Phone.
