Microsoft’s new Surface Laptop 3 is set to go on sale tomorrow, October 22, and early reviews for the new Surface device are already pouring in. That means, ahead of the new release, Microsoft and many other retailers are looking to “get rid” of old Surface Laptop 2 stock.
In fact, almost all models of the Surface Laptop 2 are already sold out at the Microsoft Store, aside from the option with the Intel Core i7 processor 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage. Well if you’re still looking to buy an “older” Surface Laptop 2 elsewhere, you’re in for some luck. Best Buy is discounting its remaining stock of the device.
Currently, one of the best remaining deals available is on the Cobalt Blue Surface Laptop 2 with the Intel Core i7 processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 256GB SSD for $1,100. That’s a full $500 off the usual price of $1,600. This is a quite a future-proof choice, and an excellent option if you’re into light photo and video editing, and light gaming.
If you’re looking for a top Surface Laptop 2 with a bit more power, Best Buy still has you covered. Right now, the Intel Core i7 Burgandy Surface Laptop 2 with 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD is going for $1,900 instead of $2,200. For a full $300 savings, you’ll be able to enjoy the storage space, as well as the massive amount of memory.
Of course, the cheapest Intel Core i5 Surface Laptop 2 base-model is also on sale for $900 instead of $1,000. This comes with 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. However, it would appear as though it is currently out of stock online. If you live near a Best Buy store, you might be able to find one on a shelf.
As always, it’s best to act fast and take advantage of these offers before they expire. If you happen to do so, feel free to let us know in the comments below if you’re now the owner of a new Surface device.
