Artist drawing on a Surface Pro in a bar makes an impression

Sketchable app on Surface Pro

Portrait artist, Hamilton Cline, made an impression on YouTuber, Scott Cate this week while he was sketching on his Surface Pro with his Surface Pen in a bar in San Francisco.

Cate was so impressed with the quality of artwork being produced on the device, honestly on par with anything an artist could make on a piece of paper or canvas, that he asked Cline if he could film him using the Surface Pro and the app which he was using, Sketchable.

In the video, which you can watch embedded on this page right here, the two discuss the benefits of drawing on a touch-enabled device like the Surface Pro and overall it’s a fantastic firsthand look at how the product is used by a professional artist without the obvious bias or overly positive spin that comes with the feature video interviews produced like Microsoft.
