The Microsoft Office team has just delivered a fresh set of updates to the Word, Excel, and Powerpoint apps on iOS. Overall, the update brings the usual improvements to the Office experience and support to annotate Office documents with your finger (via Neowin.)

The update brings Office for iOS to version 1.2.4 overall. Please see the full changelog below.

PowerPoint

  • Use the Find icon on the ribbon to search for any text in your presentation.
  • Use your finger to write, draw, and highlight with the new tools in the Draw Tab.
  • Enjoy even more flexbility for storing and accessing your presentations with Citrix.

Word

  • Use your finger to write, draw and highlight with the tools in the new Draw tab (iPhone only).
  • Enjoy even more flexibility for storing and accessing your documents with Citrix.

Excel

  • Use your finger to write, draw and highlight with the tools in the new Draw tab (iPhone only).
  • Enjoy even more flexibility for storing and accessing your spreadsheets with Citrix.
