Angry Birds Go internal beta for Windows Phone 8 available for download right now

Building upon the success of the highly popular Angry Birds games, Rovio recently unveiled a new game called “Angry Birds Go” that will be launched for free on various platforms, including Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 platform. This game resembles “Mario Kart” but adds the familiar “Angry Birds” spin to it.

This game is set to be officially released on December 11th, but the Windows Phone Store download link has apparently been revealed. The internal beta version of the app, build 0.9.0.0, reportedly works for device with 1GB of RAM or more, at least for now. Expect to see bugs and performance issues in this beta build.

According to Rovio, this game will be built from the ground up and will be a free-to-play title. This game will be available on December 11th for iOS, Android, Windows Phone 8, and BlackBerry 10. It is great to see that Rovio has included the Windows Phone 8 platform for the launch of the game and didn’t wait until a later date. This game is expected to be just as popular as the other Angry Birds games.

Update: Save the link below, as it appears that you cant play the game just yet – it might have gotten pulled immediately. We’ll update you when this changes.

Update 2: It appears the app is no longer available.
