AMD’s upcoming Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 Dual Edition has started showing up on retail websites ahead of its official April 22 launch, and early listings suggest that this flagship chip will sit close to the $1000 mark, which places it well above the current Ryzen 9 9950X3D and signals a strong premium push for this generation.
PC-Canada has listed (via X) the processor at CAD $1,373.99, which converts to roughly $984, while another Canadian retailer, ShopRBC, has posted a similar price at CAD $1,375, and both listings confirm that the chip is not yet available for purchase due to launch restrictions.

Gamingkit in the UK has also listed the processor with two different price points, where one shows £905.82 or around $1196, while another part of the listing shows £725.4 or about $954, and the lower number likely excludes VAT, which explains the gap between the two figures.
Early listings point to premium pricing
These early listings are not final, but they still give a clear direction about how AMD plans to position this chip, since the Ryzen 9 9950X3D launched at $699 and this new dual edition variant will likely start closer to $799 or even higher depending on final market strategy.
AMD has room to push pricing higher because there is no direct competitor offering a similar dual X3D chiplet design, and the company is clearly targeting users who want top-tier gaming and productivity performance in one package.
The Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 Dual Edition stands out because it introduces dual X3D chiplets, which increases total cache to 208MB and aims to deliver better performance across demanding workloads, while the processor also carries a higher TDP of 200W, which shows that AMD is pushing both performance and power limits with this model.
As the launch date gets closer, more retailers will likely list the processor, and those listings will help confirm where AMD finally lands on pricing, but early signs already show that this chip will sit firmly in the premium segment for high-end desktop users.
