Amazon taking pre-orders of the Xbox One on November 20th, two days before release

Looking to place a pre-order on the next generation Xbox One console? Amazon will be taking pre-orders tomorrow, Wednesday, November 20th. The Xbox One is set to be officially released on November 22nd.

“Customers who signed up to be notified of Xbox One console availability might like to know that we will have units of the Xbox One available for pre-order on Wednesday, November 20. Quantities are limited so you will need to pre-order while supplies last, starting at 8 a.m. ET / 5 a.m. PT,” Amazon stated to WinBeta.

However, Amazon notes on its Xbox One product page that shipping dates will be based on availability. Amazon is not guaranteeing this product will be available on the release date due to high demand, so pre-order yours now before its too late! You can check out the Amazon.com Xbox One pre-order page here.

You can also snag a Day One edition of the Xbox One, which features a commemorative controller, token code to unlock an exclusive Day One achievement, and premium packaging at no additional cost. The Day One edition is supposedly guaranteed (that’s what Amazon says) to be available on the release date, which is Friday, November 22nd.

The Xbox One runs for $499 and comes with a controller, Kinect, and a chat headset.
