Back at the IFA 2015 in Berlin, Acer unveiled a number of budget-friendly Windows 10 Mobile offerings, but it seems it’s not the only company. Alcatel is also rumored to be gearing up to launch an entry-level Windows 10 Mobile handset dubbed as the Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL, as leaked by the famed Twitter leaker Evan Blass, popularly known as @evleaks.

Blass revealed a handful of details about what the handset will offer and when it will see the light of the day. As per him, the alleged OneTouch Fierce XL will boast a 5.5-inch display sporting a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
Other rumored features include 8MP main camera for photos and videos, 2MP front-facing camera, a microSD card slot for expansion, a 2,500 mAh battery and ships with Windows 10 Mobile as its operating system out of the box. Blass further mentions that the handset will launch in December.
It will be interesting to see if any key smartphone manufacturers will enter the Windows 10 Mobile market. We’ll update you as soon as we get any other information about the upcoming Alcatel handset.
