Acer Announces Aspire E 14 And E 15 Notebooks, Starting At $299 – onmsft.com

Aspire E 14

Acer has announced two laptops, Aspire E 14 and E 15,  powered by Windows 8.1 as its operating system. Both devices come with an affordable price tag, as well as the choice of touch/non-touch, HD/Full HD, and glare or matte display. 

Aspire E 14 comes with a 14-inch display while the E15 boasts a 15.6-inch display sporting a HD/Full HD resolution choice, and a 10-point multi-touch screen for smooth usage. Both notebooks come with Dell Precision Touchpad that supports six core Windows 8.1 TouchPad gestures as well. For those who take portability as an important factor, Aspire E series offer excellent battery timings, up to 7 hours, to last most of the day during work. 

As for the hardware, the new E series laptops offers up to 16GB of memory, 1TB HDD,  latest NVIDIA GeForce 800M series or AMD Radeon R-Series for amazing gaming experience, and comes with Skype certification for improved VoIP experience. Under the hood, there’s a 2014 AMD A-Series accelerated processors or 4th Generation Intel Core processors for improved performance, and the ability to handle day-to-day tasks without any trouble.

Aspire E 14 will hit retail in six elegant colors including Piano Black, Pearl White, Glossy Copper, Ruby Red, Topaz Blue, and Jade Green. As for the pricing, it will be available in America and Europe, Middle East, and Africa in June with prices starting at US$299 and €349. As for China, the notebooks will be available by the end of May with prices starting at RMB 3999.

As for the Aspire E 15, it will be available in Midnight Black, Titanium Silver, Tiger’s Eye Brown, Sapphire Blue, and Garnet Red from June in America with prices starting at $299. The folks in Europe, Middle East, and Africa will be able to grab the notebook by mid-May with prices starting at €299. Lastly, China will get the 15.6-inch notebook by the end of May with prices starting at RMB 3999.
