Mark Coplowe joins to drive channel partnerships

Accountz, a UK-based specialist in accounting software, has launched a new initiative aimed at building its reseller network in the business accounting sector.

To support the drive into the UK channel Accountz has appointed its first channel manager, Mark Coplowe. Mark has joined the company with close to 25 years experience in direct sales having started his own business back in 1986.

Mark was one of the first resellers of Sage in the UK, and has experience with other accounting applications including Navision, Pegasus, Access Accounts and Sun Accounts.

Quentin Pain, founder and chairman of Accountz, said: “Mark has a deep understanding of the market founded on years of experience in selling a diverse range of accounting applications. With close relationships within the sector I have no doubt he will be a valuable asset to the company as we drive forward with our channel strategy.”

Accountz, which already sells directly to businesses, aims to increase its market penetration by building a broad channel network. It will partner with resellers, accountants and bookkeepers, bringing a simple and flexible solution that offers users value for money. The company which offers solutions for both the home and business user, has three core business offerings:

– Business Accountz Basic: for pure, high speed, fully editable bookkeeping
– Business Accountz Professional: for those also needing invoicing and customer management
– Business Accountz Enterprise: for those who also need purchase order and supplier management

“Accountz is committed to helping channel partners increase their market share and customer satisfaction with a complete portfolio of innovative, proven, and cost-effective product and service offerings,” added Quentin.

“We offer the complete portfolio of accounting products which will help allow channel partners to deliver a customer experience with a comprehensive product model,” he concluded.

Accountz will also run the first in a series of conferences from its Cambridge base inviting prospective partners and resellers, to experience the range of products, support and commercial incentives available to the channel. This will include an exclusive reseller range on its Business Accountz Enterprise and Professional software, entitling customers to add-on modules of their choice compatible with their product selection and specific to their business requirements. The conference will take place on Thursday 2 December 2010 and prospective partners will get to hear about all of the exciting product releases in Q4 2010 and the development plans for 2011 from the team at Accountz.
