We are glad you have decided to visit our site and/or sign up on our forums, however with every community there are rules that members need to abide by to ensure everything runs smooth.

The following is a brief run-down on our current rules. Please note this is not a complete list, just a few of the major points. Use common sense and you’ll be fine.

No Spamming – Topics and/or posts that are comprised of complete nonsense will be deleted. When replying in a thread, please try and stay on track of the current discussion.

No Graphic Material/Content – This includes, but is not limited to; racial content, pornographic material and inappropriate jokes.

No Swearing/Cursing – Cursing should not be needed, please find other words to express yourself in a mature way. Attempting to circumvent our word filter will also not be allowed.

No Verbal Abuse – This includes, but is not limited to; “flaming” other members and instigating arguments.

Signatures & Avatars – Please keep these at a reasonable size, both in pixels and in kilobytes. What looks ok to you at 1600×1200, will most likely fill a good portion of another persons screen who is running at 1024×786 or below. Please be considerate of others. Note that the upload feature for avatars is currently disabled, however, you can still link to an off-site image. Please note that adding download links and other such links to your signature is prohibited. That would fall under the category of advertising/spamming. The Forum Admins reserve the right to edit or delete your signature as they see fit.

No Warez – This includes the discussion and/or circumvention of retail products and software. Keygens, cracks, serials will also not be tolerated.

News Submission Guidelines – Feel free to submit relevant tech news and articles in our Backpage Headlines Forum. You may not post news just to advertise your site. Please understand that advertising/spamming is NOT tollerated here. Limit your submissions to 3 posts.

Respect is important – Please understand that others may not be at the same level as you in some areas. We strive to provide you a welcoming evironment to learn more about the latest developments in the IT industry. Our staff are knowledgable and here to help. Please be courteous to all users.

When posting or commenting you agree that the administrator and moderators of this forum have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit. If you have any questions regarding this do not create a new thread, rather, send a private message to an administrator.
