6tag for Windows Phone 8 receives new update, no change log available

For those of you who use the 6tag app on Windows Phone 8, there is a new update available for you in the Windows Phone Store. 6tag has become a popular third-party Instagram app for the Windows Phone platform, even though Instagram recently released the official app – albeit in Beta.

“6tag is the most full featured Instagram app for Windows Phone. Upload picture and videos on Instagram, apply filters, tag your friends, view posts on a map, and more,” the app description reads. Thusfar, the app has received over 40,000 reviews with the majority of them being nearly five stars.

This new app update bumps the version number to 2.2.5.0. No change log was provided, so we have no idea what new features were added or fixes were made. Hit the download link below to force the update and let us know if you notice any new improvements.

Do you prefer 6tag over the official Instagram app?
