6Snap for Windows Phone

Snapchat has yet to make an official appearance for Windows Phone platform, but thanks to Rudy Huyn, Snapchat lovers can make full use of almost all the features found in the service. It’s Christmas, but there are people who are working on the holiday to make sure other people are happy. Included in the list is Rudy, who is still trying to make 6Snap a better application by releasing an update with several new features onboard.

The latest applications bumps the version to 2.0.0.0 and comes with new features, with replay being the most prominent one. The replay feature give users the ability to play old Snapchat messages. Unfortunately, it’s restricted to one snap per day. The latest update also brings best friends feature, allowing users to add a specific number of people to best friends list.

New features in 6Snap v2.0.0.0:

  • Replay old snapchats (limited to one by day)
  • Front-facing flash – special text : 3 templates (normal, centered big font, left-aligned big font)
  • Choose number of best friends
  • All Instagram filters

In case you don’t know, all these features were released for iOS and Android earlier this week, and it’s pretty good to see that Windows Phone users can enjoy them not too long after they made their way to the Snapchat service.

If you’re a Snapchat addict, head over to the Windows Phone Store and download the application to make use of these new features.
