Terry Myerson is currently on stage of Microsoft’s annual Build developer conference, and he just said that the Windows 10 Store has received 5 billion visits since its launch last year. He also reported “60 percent growth” of new developers for the Windows Store, which is quite impressive.
More, Myerson took the time to address criticism from Epic Games’ Tim Sweeney:
“We designed this platform for all of our customers. This is an open platform. For over 30 years Windows has welcomed an open ecosystem of hardware and software partners. Nothing changes with the Universal Windows platform.”
