The long wait is finally over. Microsoft is unleashing versions of Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 with the largest memory size yet: 1TB

Specifically, the 1TB Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 is now up for pre-order on the Microsoft Store UK website. As the most spacious versions of two premium machines, they also carry the best Microsoft has to offer in terms of Surface hardware, namely 16GB of RAM, and in the case of the Surface Book, a dedicated, custom-made NVidia GPU. Pricing is, of course, of premium caliber, but then you can see for yourself below.

What about the Surface Pro 4 1TB? Here’s the UK price.

As the specs and entry cost should make clear, the 1TB Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book are not for the average consumers, instead only a specialized group of people with the highest of needs for built-in storage and RAM, and also the biggest of money to splurge. If you are one of those people, who somehow want and can afford 1TB of storage in a folder-sized laptop-slash-tablet to carry around, however, then there is hardly any comparable choice of power and mobility.
