Fortnite video game’s Chapter 2 Season 3 will now begin on June 11th on Xbox One and PC

The next season of the popular Fortnite video game has been delayed several times over the past month or so and it’s now been given one more (hopefully final) date change.

As of today, the beginning of Chapter 2 Season 3 is officially set to begin on June 11th on all platforms including Windows PCs and Microsoft’s family of Xbox One consoles. This new season will introduce a plethora of new skins, music, and other items for players to unlock and will very likely see a slight redesign of the map.

Several leaks have hinted that the new map for the next season will see large portions of the current map flooded though there’s been no official confirmation for this yet.

A special one-off event is scheduled for June 6th at 2 PM ET. All that’s been confirmed about it right now is that it will be called The Device though it’s incredibly likely that it will involve the hatches around The Agency building in the center of the current map and could be what triggers the map change for Season 3.
