Free Christmas DLC coming for The Escapists on Xbox One

Xbox One video game, The Escapists, is getting a free content update this week that will add a new holiday-themed prison for players to play, 20 new items and craftables, and a new leaderboard for everyone to rank on. The announcement was made via the official The Escapists Twitter account earlier today which said, “Buddy the elf is back in a free wintery content update for The Escapists! Break out of Frosty Pines from Thursday 8th in new Jingle Cells!”

The Escapists is a popular strategy game that has developed a strong loyal following of fans. The series has seen a The Walking Dead spin-off game and a series sequel, The Escapists 2, has been announced for release in 2017.
