Fast Ring Insiders won’t get new Windows 10 build this week due to blocking bug

Microsoft has been releasing new Fast Ring builds at a regular pace in the past couple of weeks, with the latest build 19569 released a week ago. Unfortunately, the Windows Insider team announced earlier today that there won’t be a new flight this week due to a blocking bug.

It’s Wednesay and we wanted to ship a new preview build, but we’ve hit a flight-blocking bug with this week’s candidate. A fix is already in the works and it should be remedied for next week’s build.

Fortunately, the team said that they’re already working on a fix, and the next Fast Ring build could be released next week at the earliest. However, no word if the new bits could finally bring us any new features, especially after the last couple of builds only came with minor quality fixes.

As a reminder, the Windows Insider webcast will also be back next week on Tuesday, March 3. This should be a good opportunity for the team to share what’s next for this new development branch, and it would also be nice to have an update on the 20H1 update which is still being tested with Slow Ring Insiders.
