Facebook for Windows Phone and Video app receive minor updates

Several apps got updated at Windows Phone Store this week – which is a great thing because we all love app updates! Facebook and Xbox Video received an update a few hours ago, so let’s take a look at the new improvements that the updates have brought to the table.

Social juggernaut Facebook updated its app for Windows Phone, and like its several dozen previous updates, this one doesn’t sport a changelog. Hence, we are going to go ahead and make an educated guess that upon updating, the app might run a tad bit faster, and there will be the usual bug fixes and general performance improvements.

It should be pointed out that Facebook’s Windows Phone client is yet to get its user interface revamped like its Android and iOS counterparts. Facebook for Windows Phone isn’t much different from the mobile version of the site that you can access from any browser.

Formerly known as Xbox Video, the Video app also snagged a minor update as well. The changelog suggests that the update has squashed some bugs and made other improvements. Take the apps out for a spin and let us know if you notice anything new.

Thanks for the tip, Danish!
